Early grooming experiences are one of the most important investments you can make in your puppy's lifelong health and comfort.

We recommend introducing your puppy to the grooming salon as soon as possible, even if they do not yet need a full haircut. Puppies benefit from becoming familiar with the sights, sounds, smells, touch, equipment, and overall environment of the salon, as well as learning to be comfortable away from their parents.

To help puppies build confidence, we recommend 4-8 introductory grooming visits consisting of a Basic Bath or Face, Feet & Tidy service before their first full haircut. These shorter appointments allow your puppy to gradually become comfortable with the grooming process and help create a positive, stress-free experience.

Even breeds that do not require regular haircuts benefit from early grooming visits. Learning to enjoy bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning, brushing, handling, and drying at a young age helps prevent fear and anxiety later in life.

First-Time Puppies Over 6 Months

Puppies over 6 months of age who have never visited a grooming salon may require additional time, patience, and specialized handling while they are introduced to the grooming process. Because these appointments often take significantly longer, an additional Puppy Introduction/Special Handling fee may apply.
